About Flanders DC

Flanders DC is the Flemish organisation for entrepreneurial creativity. Our mission is to make entrepreneurial Flanders more creative and Creative Flanders more entrepreneurial. We do research on creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and creative industries. We set up events, develop tools and bring people together.

Our view on Entrepreneurial Creativity is bi-fold:

  1. Companies need to find different and better solutions, better than the competition and different than what is currently on the market. The society needs different and better solutions for it's challenges. Entrepreneurial creativity enables a company and a region to react quicker to trends, market and societal developments. It allows companies to apply creativity to every business area and not just marketing or new product development. Areas like HR, sales, supply chain management, and even the business model itself need to get more creative in Flanders.
  2. Creative industries have a lot of potential. They have a large impact on society and us as humans who want to develop ourselves. Besides this, these industries also are more and more an important part of  the economy. We need more entrepreneurial spirit in this sector in order for it to be able to flourish.
