In this grand mansion in the town centre of Hasselt you will be stunned by the aromas of coffee and chocolate. Boon has an exquisite offer of square and round shapes filled with a variety of exclusive flavours and combinations. They are finished off with a girl’s name, a sober accent or a speck of gold foil.
The business is a full concept where the owners sell their homemade chocolates and unique chocolate creations. In the adjoining coffee lounge you can enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, “latte” or a chocolate drink while you observe the chocolate confectioners at work in the open studio.

In a 19th century agricultural distillery – in the middle of the city of Hasselt - the National Genever Museum tells the story of Belgian gin (jenever), from grain to drink. You can follow the production process, among others, in an authentic 19th century distilling facility. And of course you can also taste a large number of Belgian grain gins (jenevers).
