Flanders DC is now offering 5 designers with their own label or design firms the unique opportunity to participate. We're especially targeting those who have never exhibited at Maison & Objet before. This is your chance to explore the market and see firsthand if this is the ideal platform for your products.

• A large, shared stand with WBDM, equipped with all basic amenities

• Coordination of participation

• Registration at Maison & Objet

• Stand setup and decoration

• Communication under the Belgium is Design banner

• Contacts with Belgian and international press

• Coaching on participating in international fairs, including preparatory and evaluation meetings

• Thorough preparation in advance

• Presence throughout the duration of the fair

• Travel and accommodation

• Rental of your part of the stand (Flanders DC will provide an invoice)

Cost

• You rent 1/5 of the Flanders DC stand, which amounts to €4,000. It's possible to apply for subsidies for the rental of stand space from Flanders Investment & Trade
• Starters who have never received subsidies from Flanders Investment & Trade are eligible for the starterpackage.

De selectie gebeurt door een onafhankelijke jury, aangevuld met mensen van Flanders DC en WBDM. Voor de selectie houden we rekening met de volgende elementen.  Gelieve deze dan ook toe te voegen aan jouw kandidatuur.

• Selection will be conducted by an independent jury, supplemented by individuals from Flanders DC and WBDM. For the selection, we consider the following elements. Please include these in your application:

• The Brand
    - Description of your brand and its objectives
    - Business plan
    - List of current sales points

• International Strategy
    - Target markets and how you plan to reach them
    - Types of contacts sought (agents, distributors, etc.)

• The Products
    - Photos of what you intend to showcase at M&O (no sketches or prototypes; products must be finished and marketable)
    - Price list for various quantities
    - Wholesale price breakdown and retail prices

• Production Capacity Information
    - Lead times and delivery terms
    - List of production partners and their lead times

• Motivation
    - Previous participation history
    - Reasons for choosing Maison & Objet
    - Why the Today section (the section we will be in)
    - Plan if not selected

Maison & Objet, with approximately 70,000 professional visitors from 160 countries, is one of the largest trade fairs in the interior and decoration sectors. Belgian designers and design companies make a significant presence twice a year (January and September). The January edition primarily focuses on the furniture sector, while the September edition offers a broader spectrum. However, all design products are featured in both editions. Maison & Objet plans to revise its sections for the January edition, and we opt for the most design-oriented section in hall 6.
