I am an experienced leather accessories designer, overseeing the design and production, collaborating freelance for different brands (Italian and international) .

I am italian, but based in Belgium.

I am looking for a junior accessories designer that could support me with 2 clients. 

The designer could work completely independently, but I need  him/she available for me 2 days x week (from remote).

I am looking for a positive and enthousiastic designer, supporting me in developing exciting new designs. The designer responsibilities will include conducting research, creating trials, providing technical drawings following my guide lines, finalising the approved designs for production, preparing overviews and tech packs, and refining specifications and proto comments. He/she should have strong technical insight and ideally 1-2 years of experience in the field.

From 1 October 2024 till 30 May 2025

(with the possibility of being extended)

- 2 days x week.

- Works independently remote (with a structured approach).

- flexible (If you follow other projects we can agree week by week, but 2 days must be guaranteed)

- PROFILE REQUIREMENT : 

- Excellent sketching and technical drawing skills in illustration and by hand.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).

- Strong attention to detail.

- Understanding of bags proportions and construction.

- Prepare and present technical drawings.

- Hardware (metal accessories) sketching and technical drawing.

- Graphic skills.

- Research, analyse and interpret market trends to propose innovative ideas and solutions.

- Concept sketches, injecting fresh ideas and innovation.
