Who is Wolk?

Would you like to strengthen communications and content creation at a luxury fashion label based in Antwerp? Wolk is offering an internship for a motivated student who would like to work with the founders and freelancers.

Wolk is a menswear label based in Antwerp. Using traditional craftsmanship and modern technology, we create merino wool clothing with luxurious comfort.

We are an online brand selling directly to our customers in 35 countries. (Our main markets are Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the US)

Your job as a communications intern

• Content creation: You will help develop creative and inspiring content for various channels, including social media, blogs and newsletters.
• Building media relations: You will help create and maintain strong relationships with journalists/ influencers and affiliates to put Wolk in the spotlight
• Develop a strategy: You will think from the start about creative insights to build campaigns/advertisements.
• Writing press releases: You write engaging and effective press releases that attract attention.
• Community building: You support and make proposals to increase and engage the community.
• Analysing and reporting: You analyse the results of campaigns and report on media coverage and the impact achieved.

Your profile as a communications intern

• You study communication or marketing.
• You are available for a minimum of 3 months. You can start immediately!
• You know the latest social media trends, tools and influencers.
• You have an affinity for (men's) fashion.
• You are eager to learn and dare to ask questions.
• You can understand and defend the USPs and essences of a brand.
• You are an innovative and creative storyteller.
• You are result-oriented.
• You are a natural relationship builder who is well-organised and proactive.
• You speak and write English fluently; Dutch is a big plus.
