Who are we?
Yuma Labs designs and produces high quality eyewear from sustainable materials.
We are not just another sunglasses brand. We consider ourselves a laboratory, founded with a rebellious spirit to experiment and rethink the way we make and use our everyday products. We are in business to kickstart the circular economy within the fashion industry at large. We love to challenge ourselves, our processes, partners and customers to make iconic products that spark the conversation about the circular economy.
In other words: We make sunglasses that offer a completely different view —quite literally— on the role of waste in our society and environment.
What will you do?
As account & project manager , your role will be divided into two main tasks. Partly you’ll be the point of contact for our big clients, international fashion companies. You’ll also be responsible for onboarding new clients. As the point of contact you’ll work together with our sourcing manager to develop collections tailored to the client's needs and wishes. Given that we work for a variety of companies, no two orders or clients are the same. The only thing they have in common is that they are always right, so customer-oriented is your middle name.
Your second main task you’ll lead as project manager collaborations and projects with different stakeholders, aside from clients. This can be a variety of projects (from an event, helping with a PR campaign,...).
Who are you?
Do we need to mention that sustainability is important for us? And that it would be nice if this was no different for you too? Maybe even more important to tell you is Yuma Labs is a young startup and aside from changing the world we want to build a company that can be an alternative to the current economy. So, we are looking for an entrepreneurial, flexible and commercial profile.
You would be a fit for this role if you:
- Have a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Have your own opinion, bold enough to be critical for your own work and let your voice be heard
- If you are not afraid to work independently and implement your own processes
- Are fluent in English and Dutch and have strong communication skills which means you are able to interact with stakeholders across all levels
- Don’t have a 9 to 5 attitude
- Are able to travel to our office in Antwerp at least 2-3 days/week
What do we offer?
We offer a dynamic job that will be surprising on a daily basis. You’ll become part of a small team that’s growing fast, this will give you a lot of responsibility and you’ll be able to be part of a promising impact company, with opportunities to grow into a leadership role. Working hours are based on trust and you have the possibility to work remotely.
