We are not just another sunglasses brand. We consider ourselves a laboratory, founded with a rebellious spirit to experiment and rethink the way we make and use our everyday products. We are in business to kickstart the circular economy within the fashion industry at large. We love to challenge ourselves, our processes, partners and customers to make iconic products that spark the conversation about the circular economy.
In other words: We make sunglasses that offer a completely different view —quite literally— on the role of waste in our society and environment.
What will you do?
As a business developer of Yuma Labs, you will expand the current sales channels of Yuma Labs (same products in other markets). You will also co-manage R&D projects and test them in new markets. In both cases you will manage this from A to Z: find funds, make budgets, manage partners and evaluate and adjust where necessary. Always in consultation with the partners of Yuma Labs. This job is a combination of strategy and implementation.
Who are you?
You would be a fit for this role if you:
- Love approaching unknown territory, but experience in eyewear and fashion is a huge plus.
- Have hands-on experience within a similar industry for at least 2 years
- Have a ‘can-do’ attitude in a fast-changing environment
- Can work independently
- Don’t have a 9 to 5 attitude
- Are able to travel to our Antwerp office at least 2-3 days/week
- Are fluent in English and Dutch
